Best Win Bet: 3.20 Sedgefield Mr Clarkson 11/10 & 2.00 Huntingdon Crievehill 2/1
Best EW Bet:  3.10 Huntingdon Kilronan High 20/1

Mark Usher
1.50 Chelmsford City Mistry 7/2
We are going to take our chance and run Mistry at Chelmsford this afternoon. It is her last chance to run off her old mark and on what she has achieved on her last two runs at Kempton and at Lingfield she should have a competitive chance in her first run at the minimum trip from a reasonable draw; her jockey is in great form riding two winners from two rides yesterday
★★★★☆

Martin Keighley
2.20 Chelmsford City Whatalove 8/1
It's a competitive little race but she's off no weight at all with Rhian Ingram taking a further 7lbs off her already low weight of 8 stone 2 lbs which had left us scratching our heads for very light weight jockeys!  Freddie was nearly recruited in disguise!  We're pleased with her at home but she needs to improve on what she has shown on the track and cope with the wind if it's as bad as it is here as she's only small.
★★★☆☆

Nigel Twiston Davies
1.30 Huntingdon Double Court 16/1
Double Court had shown good improvement but a 14lb rise since a win at Newton Abbot four outings ago to 96 may have proved restrictive last time, though he still went well until the latter stages. Back down a couple of pounds here over a similar trip will help and Jamie Bargary's 3lb claim will help. A good run expected and he's back within a pound of a good second place run at Perth back in September.
★★★☆☆
2.00 Huntingdon Crievehill 2/1
Crievehill has some good form in the book already and won very nicely on his handicap debut at Lingfield. He ran well in a grade two event at Haydock last time and in novice company again today can go very well. Looks to have an excellent chance, Sam Twiston-Davies rides.
★★★★★
3.10 Huntingdon Kilronan High 20/1
Kilronan High won at Hereford three outings ago over 2m 5f and went up 5lbs to 132 where she remains. In a non-handicap mares chase today, she looks to have each way chances and may just go close. Willy Twiston-Davies rides.
★★★☆☆

David Pipe
3.20 Sedgefield Mr Clarkson 11/10
It is a 2m1f conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle and his last start at Exeter is safely ignored as the bit slipped through his mouth - his previous two successes read well and a repeat of those efforts will see him go very close. David Noonan is in the saddle and takes 3lbs off his back.
★★★★★

Ed Walker
5.50 Wolverhampton Everdina 7/2
Everdina a daughter of Pour Moi makes her handicap debut in the opening contest on the card at 17:50, a one mile four furlong handicap. She is drawn in stall one of ten and will be ridden by Thomas Brown. She has been gradually improving with each run and the step up in trip should suit her as she was staying on well on her last start at Kempton when finishing fifth.
★★★☆☆
6.25 Wolverhampton Dark Titan 9/2
He is drawn in stall seven of eight and will be ridden by Thomas Brown. He improved considerably from his first run to second when finishing an encouraging third last time out at Lingfield and in a race which lacks horses with experience hopefully he will be able to put his to good use here. However despite a lot of the competition being unraced there are several expensive purchases and well bred horses in the field so it is hard to know what we are up against but we are hopeful he will run well.
★★★☆☆

Mike De Kock
5:25 Meydan Mubtaahij 11/8
Mubtaahij arrived back in Dubai on 12 December after a short spell in quarantine, which was really his only period of rest after his US campaign. He ran some cracking races in the US, but he wasn’t moving too well on his return so we had to take things quite easy with him. He is moving well again, we’re happy with his progress but he is some way off his peak. He’s been with two trainers in a year, he’s visited two continents and was on different feeds. It’s hard to pick them up from exploits like these. Horses are not machines, they’re no switches you can flick on and off. The strength of this field tomorrow doesn’t matter. Mubtaahij will need the run, he is not at his best and if he doesn’t put in a satisfactory run we’ll race him again on Super Saturday next week. He will make good improvement going into the World Cup
★★★☆☆
6:00 Meydan Johan Strauss 40/1
He needs further, and still needs another run as he is problematic.
★☆☆☆☆
6:00 Meydan Suyoof 13/2
He is doing very well. If this was 1600m I would have been confident, he will still be competitive over 1400m, we’ve run out of time with race choices
★★★☆☆
6:00 Meydan Tahanee 11/1
Still fit and well, in good form and we’ll be looking for another competitive effort.

02/12/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Willie Mullins
11.45 Limerick Kemboy  4/6
Kemboy (Ruby) makes his hurdling debut and has his first run for us in Division 1 of the 4YO maiden hurdle over 2m 3f. He is a nice type who was second on the flat in France last year. He jumps well and we are looking forward to seeing how he gets on. This looks like the tougher division but we think he will give a very good account of himself.
★★★★☆
12.15 Limerick Cadmium 4/7
Cadmium (Ruby) runs in Division 2. He has a similar profile to Kemboy and is also a likeable sort. We don’t know much about his sire, Early March, but he has schooled well at home and should be very much involved in what appears to be the weaker division.
★★★★★

Malcom Jefferson
1.40 Sedgefield Spiculas 15/8
He joined us in summer with Waiting Patiently and has done well since he came in. We have brought him along quietly as he has been off a long time and he seems very well in himself at home at the moment and looks ready to run.
★★★★☆

Julia Feilden
4.40 Wolverhampton Critical Thinking 66/1
He came to me from a friend in Ireland as opportunities for maidens at this time of year are very sparse there and the aim is to win a race with him over the winter. His work on the gallops has been very pleasing and he goes there pretty fit but there are a couple of runners with useful form so a first-time out win might prove difficult. He is one to follow in the near future though.
★★☆☆☆
5.10 Wolverhampton Attain 7/2
A few niggles have meant he hasn't run since winning at Sandown in the summer but he is now back in great form and should give a good account of himself.
★★★★☆
6.45 Wolverhampton Little Orchid 20/1
She blotted her copybook with a below-par run last time when she could never get involved after being held up and I see no reason why she shouldn't bounce back to form.
★★★★☆
7.15 Wolverhampton Go On Gal 7/1
She has been desperately unlucky not to win this year with an agonising five second places to her name. We know she handles the course and she is still very well in herself at home so let's just hope the Gods are in her favour for once and she can give her enthusiastic and very sporting owners a much deserved winner.
★★★★☆

Alan King
1.15 Sandown Dino Velvet 4/6
We are also hopeful of Dino Velvet in their Juvenile Hurdle. He would have finished second or third had he not fallen at the last on his debut at Cheltenham. He was a little fresh that day and ought to settle better with the run behind him, and he has schooled fine since so the fall does not seem to have affected him.
★★★★☆
2.25 Sandown Messire Des Obeaux 9/4
It’s been a lucky race for us and looks the logical next step for Messire des Obeaux, who went up 11lb for winning a handicap in good style at Bangor three weeks ago. He is the highest rated horse in the race and will have learned plenty from that first win. He’s a horse we like and he should be suited by Sandown.
★★★★☆

Nigel Twiston-Davies
2.25 Sandown - Ballyandy 6/5
Had four bumper wins to his credit from six outings and a second and third place since going over timber. He has the best form on show here but needs to be at his best and the step up to 2m 4f looks likely to bring out some more. A good opportunity, Jamie Bargary aboard.

22/11/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Martin Keighley
1.30 Lingfield Forecast 8/1
Forecast returns after his Hereford win and drops back in trip to two miles under Conor Shoemark who was his victorious jockey last time.  A big ask to win again but he's in great form.
★★☆☆☆
2.05 Lingfield Viking Mistress 6/1
Viking Mistress makes her debut over fences for the Martin Keighley Racing Club and is also in great form.  She jumps fences well at home and looks a chaser so we've taken the opportunity to crack on over fences and see how she goes.  Ground an unknown but she has a bit of a knee action so I'm hoping it won't inconvenience her.  Again, we'll see.
★★★★☆

Malcom Jefferson
12.40 Sedgefield Tiger Mountain 10/1
o jumped well on his debut at Kelso. The drop back in trip may not suit but the ground will be softer which may negate that. He needs to improve to win but I would like to see him jump well and gallop from A to B. Jamie Hamilton rides him again.
★★★☆☆
1.10 Sedgefield Waiting Patiently 11/8
The most exciting runner is Waiting Patiently. He has close form with Cloudy Dream from his hurdling days and has schooled well over fences. He should handle the ground and there should be a nice gallop on as it is a good race.
★★★★☆
2.15 Sedgefield Four Mile Beach 7/2
Harry Russell has been with us for two years now and deserves his chance to race ride so we give him the leg up tomorrow. As he can be keen in blinkers we have switched to cheek pieces to help him travel but not too well! The only concern with him would be the ground.
★★★★☆
3.20 Sedgefield Frobisher Bay 9/1
He ran poorly at Carlisle last time and we still don’t know why as he has come out of the race well. Hopefully he can put a poor run behind him and show what he showed at Stratford!
★★★☆☆

David Pipe
1:30 Lingfield – Daklondike 5/2
Our former Irish point-to-point winner will stay the trip well and the trainer seems to have found a race in which he has solid claims.  He is a chaser in the making but has already done more than enough to suggest he will be winning over hurdles at some point.  Tom Scudamore is in the saddle.
