11.45 Limerick Kemboy 4/6
Kemboy (Ruby) makes his hurdling debut and has his
first run for us in Division 1 of the 4YO maiden hurdle over 2m 3f. He is a
nice type who was second on the flat in France last year. He jumps well and we
are looking forward to seeing how he gets on. This looks like the tougher
division but we think he will give a very good account of himself.

12.15 Limerick Cadmium 4/7
Cadmium (Ruby) runs in Division 2. He has a similar
profile to Kemboy and is also a likeable sort. We don’t know much about his
sire, Early March, but he has schooled well at home and should be very much
involved in what appears to be the weaker division.

1.40 Sedgefield Spiculas 15/8
He joined us in summer with Waiting Patiently and has
done well since he came in. We have brought him along quietly as he has been
off a long time and he seems very well in himself at home at the moment and
looks ready to run.

4.40 Wolverhampton Critical Thinking 66/1
He came to me from a friend in Ireland as
opportunities for maidens at this time of year are very sparse there and the
aim is to win a race with him over the winter. His work on the gallops has been
very pleasing and he goes there pretty fit but there are a couple of runners
with useful form so a first-time out win might prove difficult. He is one to
follow in the near future though.

5.10 Wolverhampton Attain 7/2
A few niggles have meant he hasn't run since winning
at Sandown in the summer but he is now back in great form and should give a
good account of himself.

6.45 Wolverhampton Little Orchid 20/1
She blotted her copybook with a below-par run last
time when she could never get involved after being held up and I see no reason
why she shouldn't bounce back to form.
★★★★☆
7.15 Wolverhampton Go On Gal 7/1
She has been desperately unlucky not to win
this year with an agonising five second places to her name. We know she handles
the course and she is still very well in herself at home so let's just hope the
Gods are in her favour for once and she can give her enthusiastic and very
sporting owners a much deserved winner.

1.15 Sandown Dino Velvet 4/6
We are also hopeful of Dino
Velvet in their Juvenile Hurdle. He would have finished second
or third had he not fallen at the last on his debut at Cheltenham. He was a
little fresh that day and ought to settle better with the run behind him, and
he has schooled fine since so the fall does not seem to have affected him.

2.25 Sandown Messire Des Obeaux 9/4
It’s been a lucky race for us and looks the
logical next step for Messire des Obeaux, who went up 11lb for winning a
handicap in good style at Bangor three weeks ago. He is the highest rated horse
in the race and will have learned plenty from that first win. He’s a horse we
like and he should be suited by Sandown.

2.25 Sandown - Ballyandy 6/5
Had four bumper wins to his credit from six
outings and a second and third place since going over timber. He has the best
form on show here but needs to be at his best and the step up to 2m 4f looks
likely to bring out some more. A good opportunity, Jamie Bargary aboard.
