08/02/17 Straight From the Trainers Mouth

Julia Feilden
2.00 Chelmsford City Limerick Lord 14/1
Things have to go his way perfectly to win and they haven't really done that for him recently but he's well handicapped as a result. As soon as things fall right for him, he will be winning again.
★★☆☆

David Pipe
2.40 Ludlow Twentytwos Taken 16/1
She has to carry top weight of 11-12.  She is not badly treated on her best form but has disappointed in three starts this term.
★★☆☆☆
3.00 Chelmsford City Perspicace 20/1
Perspicace is up in trip to 2m on the flat when he contests the 0-70 handicap at Chelmsford.  He is lower in the weights today but would need to show more than on his most recent start - Dougie Costello is in the saddle again.
★★☆☆☆
3.10 Ludlow Gone Too Far 22/1
Gone Too Far did not shape at all badly at the track last time when fourth, looking like he had gone too far!  He drops back in trip today to 2m4f and would not be without a chance.
★★★★☆

Michael Bell
4.40 Chelmsford City Duck A Lorange 6/1
He is such a good work horse at home and certainly shows ability. He has been applied with a visor for the first time which hopefully should help him in his race. Hopefully he will be competitive. He looked in good form cantering up Long Hill on Monday.
★★★★☆
6.50 Kempton Namirah 12/1
She seems to have beamed in from her first run and should hopefully show improved form here. She certainly seemed to be striding out well yesterday.
★★★☆☆

Malcom Jefferson
2.40 Ludlow Card Game 9/1
Despite running cracker on her seasonal debut she hasn’t performed at all well since and will need to show some of her old spark tomorrow
★★★☆☆

Mark Usher
5.50 Kempton Leith Bridge 13/2
An ease in both grade and rating should give him a competitive chance this evening the only downside being drawn (again!!) on the outside with only one other person between him and the lake. Liam will look to drop him in and for the others to come back to him in the straight; similarly drawn at Wolverhampton in December he was decidedly unlucky when the gaps up the straight didn’t come but Kempton, where he has run so well in the past, and the cutaway up the straight should all suit him.
★★★★☆
