24/11/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Willie Mullins
12.30 Thurles Bellow Mome  5/2
Bellow Mome (Ruby) has his first run over fences in the beginners chase over 2m 2f. He jumps well and will love this ground. He seems in great form and we are expecting him to be in the shake-up.
★★★☆
1.00 Thurles Champagne Fever 11/8
Champagne Fever (Ruby) goes for the listed chase over 2m 6f. This is not his luckiest track but he is suited by today’s race conditions. He jumps well and this ground will suit. He hasn’t run since Punchestown in April last year but he is fit and well and we are hoping for a very good run.
★★★★★
1.30 Thurles Bobarlee 3/1
Bobarlee (Ruby) tackles 2m 7f for the first time in the novice hurdle. The nice ground will be a big help but this looks like a hot little race. She has a chance if she puts her best foot forward.
★★★★☆
2.00 Thurles Augusta Kate 2/7
Augusta Kate (Ruby) makes her hurdling debut in the mares’ maiden hurdle over 2m 7f. She has schooled well at home and her pedigree suggests that she should have no trouble with this trip. We are hoping for the best.
★★★★☆
3.40 Thurles Sharps Choice 9/4
Sharps Choice (Patrick) makes his debut in the bumper. He is probably more a hurdler than a bumper horse but we are happy with him at home and we will see how he gets on. This is a very competitive contest and we will be pleased if he finishes in the money.
★★★☆☆

Robert Buckler
2.55 Taunton Somerset Lias 3/1
He is in good form and he went very well yesterday with me up on him so we are expecting a good run from him. he may be carrying top weight but this is exactly the type of race he could win
★★★★☆

David Pipe
1.45 Taunton Impulsive American 14/1
The big question as far as I can see is whether he will stay the trip - the Post make him a 12/1 chance but he should certainly find things a bit easier than at Cheltenham last time out.  Stable jockey Tom Scudamore takes the ride
★★★☆☆

Julia Feilden
7.25 Chelmsford City Candesta
He has come back from his summer break in top order, winning two of his last four races. Nothing went his way last time so you can forget that effort and I wouldn't be surprised if he was back in the placings again at a track he has run well at before.
★★★☆☆he

Harry Whittington
2.10 Towcester Vinnie Lewis 10/1
He ran well for a long way in a very competitive race at Ffos Las first time out, and should be suited by the switch to a stiffer track.  The ground is likely to be slower than the previous day which should help and he has improved at home for his first run.
★★★☆☆
2.20 Taunton Fouburg 15/2
He ran well for a long way in a competitive handicap chase, but switches back to hurdles because it is the most suitable race.  The sharp track at Taunton and the slight drop in class should suit.  If he can continue to relax on the track like he is at home, he should take another step forward.
★★★☆☆
3.45 Towcester Ikraamm 14/1
He is a laid-back character, who has done everything that’s been asked of him at home.  He is a very well bred horse, but took some time to come to hand.  The stiff test of a junior bumper around this track should suit him.
★★★☆☆
