23/11/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Malcom Jefferson
12.20 Wetherby Robbing The Prey 11/4
Robbing The Prey ran nicely for us last time and we think he will be suited by the drop back in trip. The ground should not be a problem and it looks a suitable race given the horse with the best form ran his best races on good going. His first run last season was his best run but hopefully he will settle again/as best he can tomorrow and run his race
★★★☆
3.30 Wetherby Virtually Ours 8/1
Virtually Ours needed her run badly last time and did come on for the run. She got held up a month ago but seems well enough to run but may need the race again. The ground is an unknown but she has a high knee action and may handle softer conditions then some of her siblings.
★★★☆☆

Robert Buckler
1.40 Hereford Hoo Bally Diva 40/1 & 2.15 Hereford Ballyegan 10/1
Hoo Bally Diva and Ballyegan are both in good form and both get a bit of weight off their backs. We are expecting a good run from both of them so it should be exciting.

Mark Usher
12.30 Wolverhampton Kings Heart 4/1
Today we run Kings Heart in Wolverhampton’s first race, the six furlong Nursery; since he won at Ffos Las in the third week of September he has been ‘unlucky’ (a relative term because the truth is to some extent he has made his own bad luck) on three out of the four occasions he has run since and on the fourth he ran well before finding seven furlongs on rain soaked ground at Yarmouth too far; he was particularly ‘unlucky’ at Wolverhampton 11 days ago when he stood in the stalls before finishing powerfully. Steve Drowne knows him really well and the slight ease in grade and a nice draw makes him a decent proposition today and the Yard would look to him to run really well.
★★★★★
4.55 Kempton Many Dreams 13/2
At Kempton’s Twilight meeting the promising young Apprentice, Hector Crouch, rides for the Yard for the first time on Bryan Fry’s nice filly, Many Dreams, in the seven furlong Handicap; she is also eased in grade and, for the first time in a Class Six race and with the Handicapper relenting by two pounds coupled with Hector’s Claim, all combine to give her a fighting chance of gaining a much deserved success.
★★★★☆
