28/10/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Best Win Bet: 4.20 Uttoxeter Mr Burgees 3/1
Best EW Bet: 2.45 Wetherby- Robinshill 15/2

Malcom Jefferson
2.10 Wetherby Robbing The Prey 28/1
He finished second in his first bumper in Ireland before being bought by current connections. He ran keen in bumpers then over settled in a hood on his hurdle debut. He seems settled at home and looks very well so we hope he runs a nice race tomorrow. It is a good race but he needs to go and do the job the right way. A good gallop may help.
★★☆☆
3.20 Wetherby Pair Of Jacks 13/2
ran a blinder last time and will love the ground tomorrow so hopefully he will run a big race. It is a better race then last time.
★★★★☆

David Pipe (Chester Barnes)
4.20 Uttoxeter Mr Burgees 3/1
Our seven year old has some fair form and is fitted with a pair of blinkers for the first time.  A clear round of jumping would give him a good chance under Tom Scudamore
★★★★☆

George Baker
3.10 Uttoxeter Destinys Shadow 8/1
Our only runner of the day. This horse is gradually getting there. I have to admit that there was a time when I thought this horse had nil chance of winning a horserace. I now think he might just do it one day. This day would be fun..

Nick Alexander
4.30 Wetherby Bertalus 9/1
It is only his second chase and he moves into handicap company but the track should suit fine and he should appreciate the step up in trip – just a shame there are so many runners!
★★★☆☆

Nigel Twiston-Davies
2.10 Wetherby- Scotchtown 11/2
Had a good bumper introduction when 4th of 13 at Newton Abbot three weeks ago and now goes over timber for the first time. The step up to nearly 2m 4f should be in his favour too and a good run can be expected. Jamie Bargary aboard and claims 5lbs.
★★★☆☆
2.45 Wetherby- Robinshill 15/2
Won comfortably at Ffos Las three outings ago, then up 7lbs was runner up at Cartmel. Up a further 8lbs to 118 last time saw him down the field. He gets 2lbs back here plus Jamie's 5lbs and with this looking an easier race, has a chance to get back amongst them here. Looks good each way value and could go close.
★★★★☆
2.35 Uttoxeter - One Forty Seven 11/2
Was hampered and unseated at the first on his debut two weeks ago, so this hopefully will have a better outcome. A point win in May shows he has ability and a good performance is expected. Ryan Hatch rides.
★★★☆☆
4.20 Uttoxeter - Muckle Roe 5/2
Ran pleasingly last month of off this mark of 111, to take third and looks to have similar chances here, though there should be improvement from that seasonal debut. Can go close, Ryan aboard.
★★★★☆
