Gold Opera
12 50 Ayr
We start with Gold Opera in the 12.50, his hurdling debut he has schooled nicely at home and should have come on for his run in a bumper at Carlisle 3 weeks ago, Lucy rides and 13 run.
★★★☆☆
Kim Bailey
A Shade if Bay
1.20 Ayr
A Shade Of Bay tries to win the 3 miles mare handicap hurdle.. She is a worthy favourite and Ed Cookson rides. ASOB needs to win to justify the transport costs!
★★★★☆

Flaming Matron
1.20 Ayr
In the 1.20 we run The Flaming Matron, 5 run and Lucy rides, she was meant to be going chasing so this race very much an afterthought, a winner last time out she should go well if she can finally prove she stays 3m.
★★☆☆☆
Kim Bailey
Premier Portrait
1.30 Bangor on Dee
Premier Portrait tries to win back to back races. This will not be an easy task and David Bass rides him for the first time.. Should go well but as I said it is a tough one.
★★★☆☆
David Pipe
Too Generous
1 40 Exeter
Too Generous is twice a winner on heavy ground. Tom Scudamore is aboard.

Serienschock

Serienschock won four times in gruelling conditions in France. Tom Scudamore is aboard.

Wicklow Gold
3 20 Ayr
Then in the 3.20 Wicklow Gold makes his stable debut, Stephen rides and only 3 run, he’s a couple of weeks away from being fully wound up but this looks like a nice intro to his season.

Clan Legend
3 50 Ayr
Kit rides Clan Legend 10 run; 4yo Clan Legend should be better for his varying experiences at Hexham and should prefer this flat track but is still very much a work in progress
★★☆☆☆
Nick Alexander
Calivigny
3 50 Ayr
Lucy rides. Calivigny is a smart looking 5yo son of Gold Well who was a close 2nd on his only start in an Irish p2p in the spring, he seems like an out and out stayer who will improve for the run but a good place to start tomorrow, I suspect we would need an aeroplane to beat No 7, amongst others of course….

Simon Dow
El Campeon
5.50 Kempton
Silvestre De Sousa has been booked to ride. The two year old gelding was ready to run at an early stage this year and made his racecourse debut back in May. He bumped in to a few nice types on in his first two maidens and ran his best race to date, last time out, at Kempton, when sixth of fourteen in a handicap. He had to be driven to get a nice early position and soon found himself in the middle of the field. He never really travelled and ran in snatches. He was the first horse off the bridle and it looked like he was going to be struggling after turning for home. Having said that, When they did straighten up he stayed on nicely and did well to pass horses. He is still progressing and he clearly runs better in races over trips further than the original sprint distances. He has been given a short break and has been freshened up so we are hoping that he can take a step forward once again.
★★★☆☆
Richard Fahey
Artisitic Cry
6 20 Kempton
Artist Cry up first in division one. A strapping son of Dutch Art; Ryan Moore rode him on debut at York over five-and-a-half furlongs on good to soft ground at their final meeting and he’s come on a ton for the run. He runs in the colours of Malih Lahej Al Basti and goes there in good form.
★★★☆☆
Richard Fahey
Star of the Stage
6 50 Ayr
Star Of The Stage goes in the second division of the six furlong contest and also makes his second career start. Owned and bred by Cheveley Park Stud, the gelded son of Invincible Spirit ran well on debut staying on for fourth over six at Wolverhampton. He was slowly away that day and like Artist Cry has benefited for the run
