Best Win Bet: 3.05 Ludlow Woodfort 5/1
Best EW Bet: 5.20 Ludlow Gulshanigans 7/1

Malcolm Jefferson
4.55 Doncaster Tayzar 16/1
He joined us this year having been trained by others but yet to run. We had a little hold up mid season which meant he has had to wait until now to run but he will appreciate better ground and the course should suit him. He does things well at home but this looks a strong contest on paper and we feel he will benefit from the run and experience.
★☆☆☆

Julia Feilden
2.55 Lingfield Dakota City 6/1
He has been struggling to get his head in front over middle distances recently so we're stepping him up to two miles in the hope that his turn of foot will be a bit more effective against slower horses. He settles very well so should save enough energy to see out the trip but you cannot be sure until you test his stamina on the racecourse.
★★★☆☆
5.45 Kempton Cuban Queen 12/1
Cuban Queen will be bidding to bounce back from a couple of below-par efforts. We have figured out she is very claustrophobic and really doesn't like being around other horses. This isn't ideal for all-weather racing where they race in a tight bunch but we will try and drop her out this time and come with a run down the outside. She'll need to be good to pull off these tactics but she is better than what she has shown recently.
★★★☆☆

Nigel Twiston-Davies
3.05 Ludlow Woodfort 5/1
Woodfort is a bumper winner and has had three hurdles outings to date, placed 3rd and 2nd in the last two. The last time at Doncaster over 2m 5f showed he's on an upward curve and stepped back up to 3m today can see him in with a very good chance. Willy Twiston-Davies in the saddle.
★★★★☆
3.35 Ludlow Better Days 9/1
Better Days won well at Taunton almost 4 weeks ago and although up 6lbs to 109 for that, has more to come. Over a similar trip here, he represents good each way value and a good run expected. Willy rides.
★★★☆☆
3.45 Doncaster Astracad 10/1
Astracad takes part in another veterans chase down a pound to 134 since his last outing at Sandown when 8th of 16 over 3m. A winner at Cheltenham back in November over 4f shorter, he's in good form and should go very well. Jamie Bargary takes off 3lbs.
★★☆☆☆
4.10 Ludlow Thunder Sheik 12/1
Thunder Sheik hadn't completed on his last two starts so has been off since December but returns on a handicap mark a pound lower than his last win at Newbury back in April. Obviously on a good mark therefore, he can go well again and looks to have vet good each way chances. Willy in the saddle.
★★★☆☆
5.20 Ludlow Gulshanigans 7/1
Gulshanigans showed improvement at this track to be runner-up last time but drops back from 3m to 2m 5+f today. Still a maiden after 7 races but losing that doesn't look far away and though he goes in to this 2lb up to 113, he seems to be showing enough improvement to take a big hand here. Willy aboard.
★★★★☆

Charlie Longsdon
3.45 Doncaster Killala Quay 9/2
Will make his debut in the Veteran's series on Wednesday. He is going nicely at home, so I hope he can put in a better run than he has shown this season to date.
★★★☆☆
4.55 Doncaster Montys Award 7/2
We have taken our time with him after his impressive debut win and we will just work out which race looks the most suitable before deciding where to go.
★★★★☆

Michael Bell
4.30 Lingfield Maori Bob 9/2
He has been gelded over the winter, which seems to have really helped him
★★★★☆

Richard Hannon
4.30 Lingfield Moneyoryourlife 11/4
Showed a much improved effort to run second and shouldn't be far off winning soon.
★★★★☆
