06/01/17 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

David Pipe
1.35 Wetherby What A Moment 100/30
He won at Cheltenham's Open Meeting in November on his penultimate start and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close.  David Noonan is in the saddle and takes a handy 3lbs off his back.
★★★★☆
Ed Dunlop
8.15 Wolverhampton Global Revival 5/1
Global Revival won on his Nursery debut and was then drawn badly at Glorious Goodwood when disappointing. The trip is an unknown as he is by Kyllachy but most of his siblings stay well and he shaped at Leicester as though he will get this trip. He will come on a little for the run but the race does not appear to have a lot of depth and I hope he runs well. There has been good support in the market for the Mark Johnston filly The Last Debutante and whilst she needs to show more, it would no surprise if she does improve on Nursery debut from a good draw. Ocean Promise has been very weak in the market which could be due to her wide draw but if she can bounce out and dictate from stall 8 then she would have a strong chance on the form book.
★★★☆☆

Nigel Twiston-Davies
7.15 Wolverhampton Celestial Dancer 12/1
Celestial Dancer makes her debut for us having joined from the Mick Appleby yard. Still a maiden after 13 races, she's shown promise taking three second places notably at this track twice over 1m 4f and more recently 1m 6f. She takes a further step up to 2m 1/2f tonight which should be in her favour. A good debut run expected, Thomas Brown aboard.
★★★★☆

Mark Usher
2.00 Kempton Mistry 14/1
She has had an interrupted start to her racing career and we have followed a similar path to her half brother, Misu Pete, who won his first race here over the same track and trip off a mark three pounds lower. The Yard would quietly expect her to run well this afternoon; she unquestionably has ability and is at the right end of the handicap, the issue (or constraint) being her lack of experience, street wise would be a good form of words, to take on a field of experienced professional handicapping horses over a sprint trip; there are now three non runners in her race leaving a field of nine and she should be competitive each way at around 20/1.
★★★☆
