08/12/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

David Pipe
12.30 Taunton Port Navas 6/1
Our five year old has show progressive form in finishing runner-up on his last couple of starts and he looks to have sound claims once again with Tom Scudamore in the saddle.
★★★☆

Martin Keighley
1.00 Taunton Forecast 15/2
Forecast was 4th on heavy ground last time at Lingfield but struggled to jump out of it and so we hope he will find today's conditions better - Conor Shoemark, who gets on with him so well, in the saddle again today.
★★★★☆
1.35 Taunton Jazzy 7/2
Jazzy (Andrew Tinkler) takes advantage of some pretty decent 3 year old allowances and is in good form and I am hopeful of a big run from him too
★★★☆

Ed Dunlop
4.20 Chelmsford City Magdalene Fox 16/1
Magdalene Fox once more has a less than ideal draw in stall ten back at Chelmsford this afternoon. It looks like a typically wide open 0-60 Nursery but if Viola Park can repeat his Wolverhampton run then he will be hard to peg back from stall two. Callum Shepherd has been coming in to ride work for us and has been in good form of late, he takes off a valuable three pounds. If we can slot in from his draw then he would have a small each way chance as he made up some good ground from the rear last time.
★★★☆☆

Roger Charlton
5.55 Chelmsford City Chester Street 9/2
Chester Street won well last time but he had the best trip and it was a poor race. 7lbs may just have been on the harsh side but he is on the improve. Today he has another good draw, which is vital at this course. Hopefully he can get out well and into a good position. The opponents today are solid and consistent performers, and you wouldn’t be surprised if any of them won.
★★★☆☆

Julia Feilden
5.55 Chelmsford City Majestic Moon 50/1
The 100-rated gelding we bought in October. He has settled in really well to our way of doing things and seems to be happy at home. He is quite lazy on the gallops though so it's hard to know if he is up to his rating but I suspect he is one of those horses who saves himself for raceday. He is quite a stuffy horse so will improve for the run but it would be great if he could get his career with us off to a flying start as we hope he can take us to all the big meetings next year.
★★☆☆☆
