21/11/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Ed Dunlop
1.50 Chelmsford City Booshbash
She travelled well at Newcastle last week before failing to stay the 1m2f trip and in a race that lacks depth she looks to have every chance returning to a mile. The top weight Charlie Chaplin has always been well regarded and was sent off at 4-1 in the Newmarket Maiden that Global Applause won at the Guineas meeting whilst Tael O’gold ran well behind a progressive sort when third at Newcastle and looks the biggest danger. Auric Goldfinger showed he possessed ability on his penultimate start at Kempton but was disappointing here on his last start. None of the handicap debutants have shown any form thus far but Reynardo De Silver is wearing a first time visor and any money for him would be significant from a good draw in five.
★★★☆

Alan King
12.55 Kempton Zipple Back 11/4
Zipple Back, who showed promise in bumpers last season, made a pleasing jumping debut up there and will have benefited from the experience,
★★★★☆
2.00 Kempton Miss Crick 6/1
Miss Crick is a mare who is more effective on good ground and when winter finally arrives she’ll be off on her break, but she did us proud through the summer and lost nothing in defeat when a close third at Wetherby. The winner has gone in again since, and it looked a decent race.
★★★★☆
3.10 Kempton Midnight Cowboy 11/4
He finished in the frame in all five races during the first half of 2016 and deserves to get his head in front. He’s returning from his summer break and it will be good to get him rolling again
★★★★☆

David Pipe
3.40 Kempton Iniciar 3/1
He has top weight to carry of 11-12 owing to his easy win at Worcester last time although conditional jockey David Noonan takes a handy 3lbs off his back.  He will need to improve to land this from a 12lbs higher mark but he has a progressive profile so that is not out of the question.
★★★★☆

Nigel Twiston-Davies
12.40 Ludlow- Tintern Theatre 11/8
Ran well at Aintree on his racecourse and hurdles debut, finishing a highly creditable 3rd of 9 over 2m 4f. Sure to have come on for that too, he drops back to 2m and looks to have a very good chance. Ryan Hatch aboard.
★★★★☆
1.10 - Crievehill 7/2
Has had just one Irish point outing and makes his racecourse bow going over hurdles just short of 2m. Has shown promise at home and may have enough to threaten all here, a good run expected, Ryan in the saddle.
★★★☆☆
1.40 Ludlow- Better Days 12/1
Broke his maiden tag with a hurdles win at Worcester in May but finished down the field in his last two outings. He makes his chasing debut today from a mark of 99 but looks capable of getting in the shake up. Ryan rides.
★★★☆☆
3.20 Ludlow- Scotchtown 5/6
Won last time at Wetherby on his second outing, staying on well in the closing stages. Though he gives 7lb to all five rivals as a result , he looks capable of defying that and going on from there. Another good run expected, Jamie Bargary rides taking off 3lbs.
★★★★☆
3.50 Ludlow- Another Frontier 11/4
Is still a maiden but has some decent form in the book as his top weight rating of 114 would suggest. He drops back in trip to 2m 5f and is down a pound on his previous three handicaps, so can hopefully get rid of that tag today. Looks sure to go well, Jamie in the saddle.
