04/10/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Michael Bell

3:50 Leicester – Fabricate 6/1
FABRICATE is looking to bounce back to form after a moderate effort at Doncaster on his last start. He looked to slightly run in snatches on this occasion and certainly did not finish as expected. He is another who holds a sales entry and a decent effort in a race that he ran well in last year will only enhance is value.
★★★☆☆

Roger Charlton
2:20 Leicester – Yellowhammer 16/1
She is very well bred being out of Magical Romance who won the Cheveley Park for Brian Meehan.  She is a talented filly who could be very green and we hope she has a nice introduction.
★★★☆☆
5:40 Kempton – Orange Gin 8/1
Orange Gin steps up in trip on handicap debut to 7f having run a bit free and got tired on the heavy ground at Newbury. His run at Sandown was solid, and he wasn’t beaten far. If he can run to that level he should be close. Drawn in 10 is not ideal, and he will almost certainly have to drop in behind them, as you have little chance going forward that wide.
★★★★
6:40  Kempton – Pobbles 22/1
Pobbles ran ok on debut where she was very green from the start. She held her position and finished her race off nicely. Up in trip, we expect her to be a lot less green today and should show some progression.
★★☆☆☆

Mark Usher
2:10 Brighton – All About The Pace 10/1
ll About the Pace has prospects of building on what she achieved at Wolverhampton at the end of August when running on really nicely to be third; with unexposed and unraced two year olds you can never be very sure of the calibre of the opposition but she should run well this afternoon on the good ground.
★★★☆☆
5:10 Brighton – Arlecchinos Rock 16/1
Arlecchino’s Rock is reunited with Danny Brock, under whom he ran his best race of this season when they finished a close up and running on fourth in a six furlong Wolverhampton Handicap in August, in the later six furlong Handicap. Brighton is one of those courses, mostly downhill with twists and turns, that horses tend to either act round and like or not; Arlecchino’s Rock is a horse with a ability who has not quite fulfilled his potential on the racecourse and one of the aims of today is to see (and hope!!) if he does enjoy it there; if he does he is running off a career low mark and almost a stone below his original Handicap and he could go well this afternoon.
