Kim Bailey
Premier Portrait
12.15 Doncaster
Portrait hated the ground at Bangor so hopefully todays better ground will help. Tough little contest and should be capable of finishing in the 4.

Mick Jazz
12.25 Newbury
Mick Jazz makes his debut for us at Newbury tomorrow having joined us from France in the summer. He's had two runs to date over hurdles and finished second on his last start. This is the race we started Activial in last year. If he can go as well as him we'd be very happy. He's been improving day-by-day at home physically and we're very happy with his schooling. Tomorrow's a good little race with some promising juvenile hurdlers so we'll see how we go and make plans from there. But we're pleased with his progress at home.

Catch the Moonlight
12 35 Musselburgh
We start with Catchthemoonlight in the mares race; she has been running good races in defeat and has been gradually improving with racing.
★★☆☆☆
Nick Alexander
Bracing
12 35 Musselburgh
Bracing runs in the 12.35, 11 run, it might all happen a bit quickly for her round Musselburgh but she needs the experience.

Un Ace
1.20 Doncaster
Un Ace is odd on. A clear round and he should justify that price. UA won well last time at Huntingdon and David Bass has jumped him loads of times at home.

David Pipe
Unique de Cotte
1.30 Newbury
Unique de Cotte looks to hold solid claims from the same mark that he won from at Cheltenham's Paddy Power meeting. A P McCoy is in the saddle today in place of Kieron Edgar and if the handicapper had the opportunity to frame the weights again he would have carried another 10lbs.

Midnight Oscar
1 30 Newbury
At Newbury Midnight Oscar runs in the Pertemps Qualifier; MO has to beat 3 to qualify.. He should do that.
★★☆☆☆
Lucinda Russell
The Cobbler Swayne
1 45 Musselburgh
The Cobbler Swayne was unlucky to make a mistake close to home last time but he should put his experience that day to good use.

Azure Aware
1 55 Doncaster
Azure Aware found the ground at Ffos Las more than he could cope with, so like PP earlier, we hope todays ground will see an improvement in his running.

Whybutwhy
2 20 Musselburgh Whybutwhy runs in the 2.20, 10 run, he has top weight which seems a little harsh but he is in good form at home.
★★★☆☆
Lucinda Russell
Ballycool
2 20 Musselburgh
Ballycool won convincingly first time out this season but then disappointed at Ayr on sticky going. He should find tomorrows ground more to his liking.
★★★☆☆
Willie Mullins
The Paparazzi Kid
2 40 Newbury
(Ruby) goes for the 2m 4f handicap chase. Hehas not run since winning a novice chase at Limerick last Christmas but he seems in good form at home. Our horses never seem to be well handicapped in England but the alternative is to carry top-weight in a handicap in Ireland. However, he will love this ground and the trip and should put up a goodshow.

Urban Kode
2.55 Musselburgh
Urban Kode ran satisfactorily on his comeback from a long break and if he can improve on that run he should be competitive.

Thomas Brown
3 15 Newbury
Thomas Brown runs in the two-mile-five novice hurdle tomorrow under a penalty. He's got first-time cheekpieces on. He wasn't travelling through his races and wasn't actually concentrating all that much. It sounds daft to say after he won first time out nicely but we just think, especially as he's going to be coming up against better horses, he needs to have his mind on the job more and get on and run his race. Like Jollyallan, he's come on for that first run and this will be another hopefully good experience for him as he gains racecourse experience over hurdles.

Make it Happen
3 25 Musselburugh
Finally we run the ex irish Make It Happen. He looks a stayer and may find this track on the sharp side but he will like the good ground.

Simon Dow
Brocklebank
6 55 Wolverhampton
Brocklebank could run on Friday at Wolverhampton but is also entered on Saturday. If he takes his chance he will run in the 18.55 Ladbrokes Handicap, over the extended 1m. This Diamond Green gelding was last seen finishing in mid division in a handicap at Lingfield. He broke well and was soon settled towards the rear of the field by Tom Queally. He got in to a good rhythm and was still going well two furlongs from home. Turning in to the straight he had to be switched to try and get a run up the rail. He was asked to quicken which he did but was too little too late, although he did stay on well. He has come out of that race in good form and he is dropping to a mark where he is able to get competitive so we are hoping he can give a decent account of himself.
