Mungo Madness who also ran well on his debut at the course last time. He has paid the price with the handicapper for some promising maiden runs but is slowly coming down to a level he can be competitive at.

4.40 Southwell Go On Gal 11/1

Go On Gal will again bid to end her hoodoo and finally win a race. In 13 career runs she has finished 2nd on six occasions but it is through no fault of her own. She tries very hard but has always bumped into a better horse on the day. You never know beforehand what might come out of the woodwork but she seemed to like Southwell last time and will be giving it her all as usual.

2.20 Taunton Margarets Rose 6/1

Margaret's Rose is still fairly lightly raced and showed some good signs last time at Market Rasen with a good third place off of 89. Down 2lbs to 87 and up in trip to 3m can see further improvement and with Jamie Bargary taking off 3lbs, the pair can go close.

3.20 Taunton Squeaky 66/1

Squeaky has had just three outings, two bumpers and a maiden hurdle, finishing down the field. That would have brought her on and improvement can be expected here back in trip a little. Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.

4.40 Southwell Horseguardsparade 11/2

Horseguardsparade goes from top weight here back on the flat after eight hurdles outings where he managed three runners up slots. Down a pound since his last flat outing the 13f suits on this surface and he looks to have good each way prospects. Thomas Brown in the saddle.

4.00 Wetherby Citrus 11/1

Tom Scudamore travels to Wetherby for the mount aboard Citrus

in the handicap hurdle at 4.00pm. It is a very competitive nineteen runner race with plenty of possible winners - he has dropped 3lbs since his last run but he would need to return to the level of his Plumpton success.

He is looking good so we are expecting a good run from him. However this is a 0-120 race which is a bit more than we would like, so ideally we would like a 0-110 race but there aren’t very many about.
