12.50 Ayr Christmas In Usa 50/1
Christmas
in USA (Kit) is taking time to acclimatise to our way of racing since coming
over from France but he should be more at home on this sort of ground and we
are looking for another quietly progressive performance after his 5th last time
out at Newcastle
★★☆☆☆
12.50 Ayr Craiganboy 25/1
Craiganboy
(Tony Kelly) took a heavy fall last time at the track and was concussed
afterwards, he’s been in grand form at home since but a nice clear round is
what we are after this time.
★★★☆☆
1.20 Ayr Titian Boy 8/15
Titian
Boy bids for the hat-trick under a big weight, I don’t see that as a problem
and I think given the softer ground he will be fine dropped back in trip but
he’s a big weak horse still and I’m just a little bit worried that this race
will come soon enough for him, 7 run.
★★★☆☆
1.55 Ayr The Bishop 7/1
he
is also making a relatively quick reappearance and dropping back in trip which
isn’t ideal but he’s been bouncing at home since his Hexham run and with
nothing else for him over the Christmas and New Year period I felt he should
take his chance, he’ll run well if it doesn’t come too soon
★★★☆☆
2.30 Ayr Another Mattie 16/1
he
was disappointing on his seasonal reappearance back in October but we have
given him a little time and conditions should be much more up his street
tomorrow but it does look a very competitive race
★★★☆☆
3.00 Ayr Little Glenshee 5/1
Little Glenshee reverts to hurdles
in the 3.00, only really because it is her course, distance and going and there
isn’t a suitable chase for her; 6 run in a tight little handicap for a decent
prize, she is has been very fresh and well at home.

2.30 Ayr Mango Cap 11/1
Tom Scudamore makes the long journey
up to Ayr for the ride aboard Mango Cap for the stable. He contests the
three mile handicap hurdle at 2.30pm - a trip that he won over at Perth earlier
in the season. He will probably need to improve again from this higher
mark although he should go well once again.

Nigel Twiston Davies
3:40
Hereford – Squeaky 10/1
Just one today with
Squeaky running in the 3.40 at Hereford, a 2m Mares bumper, partnered by Sam
Twiston-Davies. Fourth of 8 in her debut at Warwick, she ran well before
weakening in the closing stages. Sure to have come on for that run, she looks
to have a strong each way chance with improvement to come.
★★★☆☆
Malcom Jefferson
12.50 Ayr Robbing The Prey 4/6
Robbing The Prey
seems suited by 2 miles at the moment and the soft/heavy going should not
inconvenience him. He is in good form and providing he settles overnight we are
hopeful of a big run
★★★★★
2.30 Ayr Tiger Mountain 13/2
Tiger Mountain
surprised me at Sedgefield when running a great race to finish second over what
I thought would be an inadequate trip. We think he will be suited by three
miles and the ground should be fine. How well handicapped he is is anyone’s
guess but we don’t have long to find out!
