01/11/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

David Pipe
2.20 Exeter Purple n Gold 40/1
it is a tough task from 8lbs out of the weights although he should appreciate this sound surface better than most.  Garde la Victoire looks to be the one they all have to beat.
☆☆☆☆
3.20 Exeter Gary Charm 8/1
Tom Scu is aboard Gary Charm who was running a nice race on his Pond House debut at Cheltenham last month until unseating his amateur rider four from home - he was a prolific winner in France and could surprise a few people.
★★★★☆

Paul Nicholls
2:20 Exeter Dodging Bullets 9/2
We have had a clear run with him this time, unlike last winter and he is ready to go on good ground that suits him.
I think he has a great chance as this handicap should be easier for him after he has been running in Grade 1 races. He will be stepping up in trip as the season goes on.
★★★★☆

Mark Usher
3.00 Wolverhampton Misu Pete  17/2
Prime aim of today is to set him for a Winter over hurdles but he does go well fresh and is well handicapped on his best form at the age of going on 10 it would be true (and not overly surprising) to say that, on the flat, he might have just lost half a yard of pace compared to the days when he was competing in some of the very best handicaps but he is a spiffing person and there would be worse each way bets at around 14 or 16 to one.
★★★☆☆
4.40 Kempton Spice Fair 12/1
Miracle of Medinah’s half brother, Misu Pete, looks to improve on his good record on the artificial surfaces in Wolverhampton’s seven furlong Handicap;he is in excellent nick at home, is running off a mark two pounds lower than when winning at Wolverhampton at the end of the March and has Steve Drowne, who thankfully walked away from the disaster at Kempton yesterday and who has done so well for the Yard with Marmajuke Bay, onboard;the only negative is that he is drawn handy for a game of tennis in Dunstall Park but he should run well this pm.
★★★☆☆

Michael Bell
5:00 Wolverhampton – Chelabella 16/1
She is another who will hopefully benefit from the mini break she has had and can do herself justice. She certainly is capable of being competitive in this grade.
★★★☆☆

Roger Charlton
1.30 Wolverhampton Magique Touch 9/1
She ran well at Windsor, showing good speed over 6f, and the drop back in trip should suit. The Windsor race was a solid one, but it is worth noting the horse who finished behind her was a little unlucky to be third off 63. So, she needs to step up to be in the first three, but we hope she is improving.
★★☆☆☆

Julia Feilden
4.40 Kempton Dakota City 12/1
He had a break over the summer to save him for the all-weather season and this is his first run back. He has done plenty of work at home and is fit but I think his handicap mark might be a bit high. He will be trying his best but might find one too good.
★★☆☆☆
6.40 Kempton Candesta 6/1
He has come back from his summer holiday in fine form with two wins already, including one at the track last time. He is up in the weights and up in class but he seems in rude health so can hopefully be thereabouts at the finish.
★★★☆☆
7.40 Kempton Veeraya 12/1
He too ran well at the course last time and seems to go well fresh so the gap since his last run is no concern. He is handicapped to win and hopefully that'll be sometime soon.
★★★☆☆
