24/10/16 Straight From The Trainers Mouth

Nick Alexander
3.05 Ayr Andhaar 18/1 & Bracing 11/1
both 2nd in the two divisions of this race last year and both appear in good form so it’s no surprise they take each other on today, they should both run well but Andhaar likely to strip slightly fitter after a short break whereas Bracing has been off since early January so will improve more for the run; ground should suit both well.

Malcom Jefferson
2.30 Ayr Mr Monochrome 11/4
makes his hurdling debut. A lovely big horse he schools well at home and has come on for his last bumper run. Having had a run around the track, the ground probably won’t ride that soft (seems genuine good ground) so I would be concerned he could get done for foot. Nonetheless he is ready to run and will be trying his hardest.

4.40 Ayr Captain Sam 15/2
was disappointing last time and needs to put that run behind him. The ground may have been to fast that day at Market Rasen can ride quick so hopefully genuine good ground will suit.
