9:10 Kempton – Veereya 10/1
It may have been a while since he last won
a race but Veeraya has gone very close on numerous occasions in the meantime
and he is primed for another big show at Kempton on Wednesday. He was rated far
too high when we got him but he is on a rating he can be competitive off now
and seems to like the course. Things will need to pan out perfectly for him to
get his head in front but I hope he is thereabouts at the finish.

4:20 Bangor Tobacco Road 6/1 & Thunder
Pass 12/1
It is a nine runner novices’ hurdle of two
miles and it looks a trappy little contest with several of the participants
having very little form to go on. Our two runners were useful performers on the
level but are yet to translate that ability to hurdles and would need to
improve on what they have shown so far.

8:40 Kempton – Pension Madness 33/1
This is an extremely tightly handicapped
affair as evidenced by all thirteen runners laying within a two pound range of
the Racing Post Handicap Ratings. Despite the comments in the Post the Yard are
of the view that the gelding ran pretty well in his first run for the Yard at
Kempton earlier in the month, just finding a lack of race sharpness in the last
furlong and a half ;she will be sharper tonight and has a significant pull with
several of the opposition tonight compared to when they met 16 days ago. Some
significant double figure prices area available tonight and at 28/1 at a
quarter the odds a place there would be worse each way bets.
