Nigel Twiston Davies
Meets just two rivals in what will be a tactical event. A good win at Haydock in March was followed by a lesser effort at Aintree, but the time off since will have done him good and a good run can be expected over this extended two miles. Daryl Jacob rides.

3.00 Newton Abbot - Templeross 1/1
Also meets just two rivals for his hurdles debut and the form of his four bumpers suggests he will be hard to beat here, especially getting weight from his main rival. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

2:40 Bath – Candesta 10/1
He won well at Beverley a fortnight ago and
only went up 3lbs in the handicap so I think he is still on a good rating. The
race might be a bit hectic with so many runners around the tight track but
hopefully jockey Liam Doran can get a good run through like last time and come
home in front.

3:10 Bath – Fast And Hot 5/1
Fast and Hot with the blinkers on first
time should be much improved as he likes to hold back a little bit for himself.
He has been the model of consistency in his last few runs and I can see him
going very close again today.

4:10 Bath – Swift Mover 9/1
The filly won well at Salisbury and I think
we can forget her last start. This should suit her ideally and I can see her in
the first three.
