As De Ferbet
12:25 Thurles
As De Ferbet has his first run for us in the 2m2f beginners
chase. He will like this trip and the soft ground and his previous chasing
experience in France should be a big help here.

Malcom Jefferson
Kwo Neshe
12:30 Market Rasen
The
easier 2m 3f should suit him this time and i would expect a nice run from him.

Taj Baalandabad
12 40 Chepstow
The stable runs Taj Badalandabad at the Welsh track. He is the winner of two bumpers (one of them on soft ground) and I thought that he performed creditably on his hurdling debut when fourth in what looked quite a hot race. That view was supported when the fifth finished second next time at Newcastle and the runner-up won easily yesterday at Hexham. It will be testing ground at Chepstow this afternoon and Tom Scudamore takes over in the saddle.

Bosman Rule
1:25 Thurles
Bosman Rule runs in the 2m 6f novice hurdle. His jumping was
disappointing last time so we are fitting cheekpieces this time which he wore
when winning a bumper. This trip will suit but the track and ground may not be
to his liking.

Valyssa Monterg
2:00 Thurles
Valyssa Monterg goes for the 2m 6f mares’ maiden hurdle. She
won three out of three bumpers in France and looks a nice recruit. The trip and
ground should be fine for her.

Home Run
2 05 Market Rasen
Let's hope that owner William Frewen has a fast car - he has another runner in the 2.05pm race at Market Rasen! Home Run goes in the three mile handicap hurdle and he will be partnered by Kieron Edgar who takes a handy 5lbs off his back. He has twice won on heavy ground so he should relish the prevailing conditions.

Bellshill
3:35 Thurles
Bellshill (Patrick) runs in the bumper. He was second in the
point to point that Bordini (won Sunday) finished third in. Hopefully that form
will put him in the firing line here.

Sparbrook
4.40 kempton
Tommy Harrigan has been booked to ride. This Kodiac filly got two more two year old wins on the board for her excellent sire, when scoring back to back wins at Kempton in October. She has found life a bit more difficult after getting a 9lb hike in the weights. Last time out at Wolverhampton she broke from the stalls like a bullet from a gun and was soon challenging for the early lead. She went well until asked to keep her position around three furlongs from home. They had gone quite quickly through the early part of the race and it was evident that she got tired in the last couple of furlongs, when fading towards the rear of the field. She has come out of that race in good order and we are hoping that she can run a nice race at a track that she clearly likes.

Rochadale House
6 10 Kempton
Roachdale House is our sole runner today and he heads to Kempton for the £25 Free Bet At Titanbet.Co.Uk Handicap, a Class 2 event worth £19,000 with prize money down to sixth place. Owned and bred by Glen Devlin, the gelded son of Mastercraftsman is making his first start on the all-weather and sticks to seven furlongs, a trip he has won over three times - his most recent success being at Chester in June. His best form is on good to soft and soft ground but the going was bottomless on his most recent outing at Doncaster on the final day of the Flat Turf season. He goes there in good order and George rides.

Nonno Giulio
6 40 Kempton
Nonno Giulio is also due to run at Kempton on Thursday. He goes in the 18.40 Bet And Watch At titanbet.co.uk, over 1m with Hayley Turner on board. This Halling gelding is a recent acquisition from John Gosdens yard where he had five runs. He was started off in The Derby Trial at Epsom so we are hoping that represents the regard that he was held in. He then went on to finish down the field in a Listed race at Sandown before finishing third in a soft ground handicap at Haydock. He has been gelded since joining the yard and appears to be settling in to his new surroundings well. We are clearly still finding our way with him but we are hoping that he can develop in to a nice horse with a bit of time.
