Buddy Love
1:45 Leciester
Just the one today, Buddy Love in the 1.45 at Leicester, a 3m less half a furlong handicap chase, with Jamie Bargary riding. Just six runners here and we go from bottom weight from the same mark as when second eleven days ago at Towcester. That was only over 2m and today's trip will be the furthest he's gone to date, but there isn't anything to suggest it won't suit on this decent ground. A good run expected and he can take full advantage.

Such A Legend
2:50 Leicester
Such A Legend runs in what looks a bloody
competitive beginners chase..We are probably out of our depth but he has to
start somewhere..The Racing Post suggest that I am keen to get cracking over
fences with him and this has turned out to be a tough starter.... Their new
byline suggests I am over facing him? I dont have any options as he has to
run a chase to qualify to run in handicaps... 3 runs to qualify for a decnt
handicap chase.. Yes the Racing Post are right as he will be out of his
depth... Today... A watching and learning brief for this fine big chasing
sort... Jason Maguire rides.★☆☆☆☆
Mark Usher
Spice Fair
3:50 Leicester
Today stable favourite Spice Fair makes his hurdling debut
at the grand old age of seven. Although it is quite late for a horse to go
hurdling, he has taken to his schooling well and improved each time. The ground
won’t be exactly ideal today, but it will be good for him to get some
experience and hopefully see if he enjoys it. Obviously he has some very decent
flat form, so if he can translate that to hurdles he could sneak a place on his
hurdling debut.

Sadler’s Gold
4:00 Plumpton
Sadlers Gold who takes his chance in the closing bumper.
It is his first ever start on the racecourse and while he works well on
our all-weather gallop, it is hard to know how he will cope with today's heavy
ground - Tom Scu is in the saddle. I wonder when the last time was that
Paul Nicholls had three runners at Plumpton?
